This brief is the first of Briefbox’s Killer Homepages set! The brief called for a “eco-friendly . . . progressive and minimalistic . . . retro touch . . . handmade vibe . . . lets the products sing on the website”.
I started with the logo and colors. For the logo, I wanted to give off a warm, friendly feeling, so I chose the Itim font. I decided to experiment with an “earthy” but somewhat “popping” set of colors.
To showcase the products, I decided to go with a boxy layout. I played around with images, text boxes, and colors, settling with the pieces that looked the best together. Finally, I finished by adding a navigation bar and a responsive mobile layout.
